Job summary

Humana invites MBA and advanced-degree students to join the Summer 2027 Internship Program focused on Enterprise Growth. The 12-week in-person internship will be based at Humana’s headquarters in Louisville, KY, with limited opportunities in several other city locations.

Interns will split 3–4 days in office weekly and will engage with executive leaders on high-priority enterprise initiatives. Interns will contribute to strategic planning, product and digital innovation, and cross-functional

Qualifications

Enrolled in MBA or another advanced professional degree with an expected graduation date spring/summer 2028.
Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) May 24, 2027 to Aug 13, 2027.
Willing to work in-person 3–4 days/week at Arlington, VA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; New York, NY.
Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
Minimum of three years of professional experience completed before graduate school.
Demonstrated leadership guiding teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support strategic planning and product/digital innovation across enterprise growth areas.
Coordinate cross-functional projects and build business cases for initiatives.
Improve processes and customer/member experience while aligning with enterprise priorities.
Contribute to go-to-market and transformation efforts across multiple locations.
