Job summary

Humana invites MBA and other advanced-degree students to join its Summer 2027 Internship Program, offering meaningful projects across business functions and exposure to executive leaders in a healthcare context.

Interns will work a 12-week, in-person schedule at Humana’s headquarters in Louisville, KY, with options in a few other cities. The program emphasizes leadership development, cross-functional teamwork, and enterprise priorities aligned with improving member experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in MBA or advanced degree program with expected graduation spring/summer 2028.
• Available to work full time, 40 hours per week, during Summer 2027 (May 24–Aug 13).
• Willing to work in-person 3–4 days per week at listed locations.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and translate priorities into action across functions.
• Contribute to product and digital innovation and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop business cases, drive process improvements, and deliver measurable results.
• Enhance customer and member experience and assist with transformation efforts.
