Job summary

Math Corps, powered by Ampact, is recruiting tutors to work in local Minnesota schools. You’ll tutor groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes, track progress, and collaborate with an onsite coach to drive student growth.

Part- and full-time roles available for the 2026-27 year, with weekday daytime hours. AmeriCorps stipend of $18.89/hour and education benefits help support your service and growth.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who’s focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school’s onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
