Job summary

Math Corps, powered by Ampact, is seeking tutors to support students in Minnesota. You will tutor groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes, following a structured schedule and reporting progress to an onsite coach.

Position runs 2026-27, August 2026–June 2027. AmeriCorps members receive a stipend of $17.50/hour, plus health insurance, child care assistance, and loan-forgiveness benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Able to maintain attendance and reliability.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions for groups of up to 3 students.
• Follow a school-day schedule to ensure consistent support.
• Track student progress and report to onsite coach.
• Enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to coaching and training for growth.
• Share experiences with the community.
