Job summary

Ampact is seeking Math Corps tutors to work in area schools, delivering structured math practice and coaching students toward greater confidence. You’ll tutor groups of up to 3 for 20–30 minutes, following a set schedule and tracking progress with the onsite coach.

Paid AmeriCorps position with a biweekly stipend, plus health insurance, childcare assistance, and education benefits. Hours are weekdays during the school year 2026–2027, with flexible part-time options at 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks (email and online navigation).
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
