Job summary

Math Corps is seeking a Math Tutor to support students in a school setting. You’ll lead small-group sessions, follow a schedule, and help students build math skills and confidence. Training and coaching are provided to help you succeed.

As an AmeriCorps member, you’ll contribute to a nationwide tutoring effort while gaining experience, supporting families, and growing professionally in a welcoming, student-centered program.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Dependable with good attendance and reliable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions in math with groups of up to 3 students.
• Follow a school-day schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and coordinate with the on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Engage in ongoing coaching and training to grow professionally.
• Share experiences with the Math Corps community.
