Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting at our Silver Spring, MD clinics. You will work with perinatologists to provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies, document findings, and assist with procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification (OB/GYN or FE).
• Minimum six months experience in OB/GYN and/or MFM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins/triplets.
• Assist with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Document exam findings and images in reporting systems.
• Provide preliminary reports for interpretation and final signature.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during exams.
• Rotate to other locations to cover absences.
