Job summary

Pediatrix & Obstetrix in Cypress, TX is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team. The role focuses on comprehensive ultrasound for high-risk pregnancies, collaboration with perinatologists, and preparing preliminary reports.

You will perform detailed fetal anatomy surveys, assist with procedures, document findings, and maintain quality and safety standards. ARDMS certification preferred; OB/GYN/MFM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent; 2+ years in allied health or 1+ year on-the-job training.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or FE certification or eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins/triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.
• Document exam findings clearly in reporting systems.
• Record patient history and indications per protocols.
• Generate preliminary reports for physician review and final signature.
