Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Hollywood, FL seeks a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team at one of our MFM clinics. The diagnostic ultrasound professional will perform detailed fetal surveys and assist with procedures, delivering high-quality care to high-risk pregnancies.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to recognize ethical, legal, and professional issues inherent in providing care and acts in a non-directive manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets.
• Assists physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Accurately documents exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details in the ultrasound reporting systems.
• Records patient history, indications, and pertinent observations per protocols.
• Generates clear preliminary reports for interpreting physician review.
