Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound in a high-risk obstetrics setting. You will work with perinatologists, prepare reports, and assist with procedures while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain ARDMS certification with OB/GYN or FE eligibility within 12 months.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to meet accreditation.
• NT experience or certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys including twins/triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures like amniocentesis and CVS.
• Document exam findings and measurements in reporting systems.
• Generate preliminary reports for interpretation and final review.
• Communicate findings to support diagnostic accuracy with physicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Rotate to other locations as needed to cover absences.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and inventory of supplies.
