Job summary

Nordex SE in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Materials & Tooling Director to lead North America materials strategy, inventory control, warehousing, logistics coordination, and tooling operations for wind projects. You will ensure timely delivery of parts and tooling, optimize costs, and drive operational excellence.

The role requires building governance, managing budgets, leading cross‑functional teams, and fostering safety and accountability across sites and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree, MBA, APICS/ASCM certification, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple sites.
