Job summary

Nordex Group in North America seeks a Materials & Tooling Director to lead strategic materials management, inventory control, warehousing, logistics and tooling for wind projects. You will ensure timely delivery of materials, spare parts, and certified tooling across sites while driving operational excellence.

The role supports building high-performing teams, governing policies, managing budgets, and partnering with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5+ years in materials management, logistics, tooling, or industrial project execution.
• 3+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Experience with large-scale construction, renewable energy, or EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute North America materials and tooling strategies.
• Lead inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and tooling operations across sites.
• Oversee tooling lifecycle: procurement, inspections, maintenance, calibration, replacement.
• Manage budgets and cost performance for materials, warehousing, and tooling assets.
• Promote safety, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to support project schedules.
