Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Materials Planning Associate Analyst to support production planning and inventory control. The role collaborates with business units to maintain schedules and to prepare material for manufacturing lines.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with 1–2 years in supply chain or related fields, plus ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office proficiency; the ability to obtain a US DoD clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years in supply chain, engineering, or project management.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) in manufacturing environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Maintain program production schedules in collaboration with business unit master schedules.
Create work orders for material to be kitted and provided to manufacturing.
Understand and communicate material lead times and inventory risk.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procedures across multiple systems.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to influence production routing.
Monitor procurement performance metrics and address issues.
Monitor and analyze work in process.
Update status of parts and materials using available systems.
Identify and report problems to ensure part availability.
Coordinate raw material post-processing schedules with external vendors.
Analyze discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
Coordinate with functions to prioritize and meet production timelines.
