Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation seeks a Material Planner III to lead material planning for challenging aerospace programs. You will integrate with production, procurement, and engineering to align material requirements with schedules and project needs.

You will use ERP, MRP, Excel, and SQL to analyze inventory, lead times, and supplier performance, drive improvements, train junior teammates, and ensure timely material delivery while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and implementing demand scheduling tools.
• Highly skilled with ERP, MRP, Excel, and SQL.
• Material Planning experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace or Automotive.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering to align planning with project needs.
• Analyze inventory levels, lead times and supplier performance to reduce costs.
• Lead system and process improvement projects and train junior team members.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure on-time material delivery and resolve issues.
