Job summary

Ace Precision Machining LLC is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate materials, schedules, and production priorities for aerospace and defense programs. You’ll balance cost, quality, inventory, and timely delivery while collaborating with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.

The role emphasizes ERP-based planning, problem solving, and continuous improvement on the shop floor. An Associate degree with 2+ years of planning experience and ERP proficiency are preferred;

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Associate degree or equivalent in business/production management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems; Epicor ERP is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activity to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Maintain accurate planning information in the ERP system.
• Review raw material requirements and coordinate deliveries with Purchasing.
• Release jobs, print routings, and manufacturing sketches with high accuracy.
• Provide job status updates during meetings and daily communications.
• Help control cost and labor utilization by reviewing lot sizes and schedules.
• Review ECNs and adjust schedules based on priorities and capacity.
• Monitor production schedules and identify opportunities to reduce setups.
