Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense is seeking a production/materials planner to manage work orders from inception to completion using an MRP/ERP system. The role requires coordinating with program teams, tracking W/O status, and ensuring materials and services are available to meet deadlines.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 2–5 years of experience with MRP/ERP in manufacturing, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 2-5 years of experience using MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience as a production planner, materials planner or similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with shared work centers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor & update work orders in accordance with MPS/MRP planned order requirements.
• Track W/Os from material kitting through closing.
