Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Material Analyst for the Materials Planning group in Savannah. The role focuses on maintaining accurate part inventories at optimal stock levels, facilitating procurement, logistics, and distribution activities across the operation and customer support network.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, 2+ years in demand planning or inventory management, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.2+ years in demand planning or inventory management roles preferred.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred, SAP experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management of parts across the business unit.
• Analyze performance metrics and ensure supply chain service level goals are met.
• Prepare recommendations to optimize inventory levels and replenishment plans.
• Assist in determining excess inventory disposition and redistribution as needed.
• Maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to resolve shortages and distribution challenges.
