Job summary

Tucson Electric Power Company is seeking a Materials Operations Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient operation of the Materials Operations department in support of utility operations. You will oversee warehouse, inventory, logistics, and distribution while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires leadership, coaching, and collaboration with multiple business units to optimize resources, improve processes, and deliver high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups across functional lines.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the Materials Operations group including safety, scheduling, and productivity.
• Promote safety culture and ensure policy compliance across shifts.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and development plans for staff.
• Collaborate with HR to address employee relations and disciplinary matters as needed.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in inventory and warehouse processes.
