Job summary

Tucson Electric Power Company is seeking a qualified supervisor for power plant maintenance and operations. You will lead a unionized workforce, oversee preventative and corrective maintenance, and manage outages and capital projects to ensure reliable generation.

Responsibilities include directing staff, coordinating with multiple sections, and ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and cost-effective operations across Tucson Power Production facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems to complete job requirements.
• Experience in supervising union employees and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and directs activities; manages safety, staffing and performance reviews.
• Coordinates maintenance outages, outages/overhauls and project work with contractors.
• Ensures work is safe, compliant with OEM guidance and best practices.
• Plans outages, procures parts, and oversees contractor work to completion.
• Maintains budgets, records and cost analyses for the group.
