Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Material Handler II in Bolingbrook, IL. You will move materials between cells and the warehouse, verify part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in our business system.

Responsibilities include unloading materials, following routes, filling orders, and operating forklifts/pallet jacks. You will maintain safety standards and assist with cycle counts and document actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must have 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment; ideally in warehousing.
• Must be able to operate powered lift equipment (PIT) and pass evaluations.
• Must provide proof of forklift certification and maintain safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between cells, departments and central warehouse.
• Unload incoming materials and verify quantities and part numbers.
• Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts in the system.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells; load/unload trucks.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts and stackers as needed.
• Read Bills of Material and communicate material needs.
