Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Material Handler II for a 6:00am to 6:00pm shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will move materials, verify part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the ERP system to support production.

The role requires forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, a HS diploma or GED, and 3–5 years of related experience in manufacturing or warehousing. A safe, team-oriented environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely use pallet jacks, forklifts, stackers and other moving equipment.
• Must read and interpret Bills of Material.
• Intermediate level computer skills required.
• Ability to work with others in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification preferred.
• 3-5 years PIT or forklift experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials between cells and the warehouse.
• Check IDs for quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damage.
• Move materials between cells according to routing and orders.
• Fill and deliver orders from stock to designated cells.
• Operate hand trucks and lift trucks to move and stack pallets.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W system and conduct cycle counts.
• Document actions using production and quality forms as needed.
