Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Material Handler I in Bolingbrook, IL. You will fill orders, move materials between cells, verify part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the company system.

Responsibilities include unloading, routing, bin maintenance, and helping maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing floor. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read Bills of Material.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and manual equipment.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials; conduct bin maintenance as needed.
• Verify quantities and part numbers, report shortages or damaged material.
• Move materials between cells following routing and orders.
• Fill orders from stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck; load outgoing trucks with pallet jack.
• Maintain Kanban status and report late orders.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system; conduct cycle counts.
