Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Material Handler II for a 5:00am–1:30pm shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will move materials between cells and the warehouse, verify quantities and part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the business system.

Responsibilities include unloading, pallet jack operation, forklift use, and assisting with cycle counts while maintaining a safe, efficient workspace. Requires forklift certification and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold valid forklift certification.
• Must be able to read Bills of Material.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• 1–3 years experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store a variety of materials, parts or products.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system.
• Move materials between cells and to designated storage or delivery points.
• Fill orders from stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck and powered lift trucks to move materials.
• Load outgoing trucks using hand trucks or lift trucks.
• Contribute to team by training others in material handler tasks.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
