Job summary

G&W Electric Co. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Material Handler II to move materials between cells and the central warehouse, verify quantities and part numbers, and perform inventory transactions.

You will unload, store, and transport materials with PIT equipment, conduct cycle counts, and maintain safety standards in a medium-heavy manufacturing environment. Join a team-focused plant with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have forklift certification and be able to safely operate PIT.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read Bills of Material.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials and perform bin maintenance.
• Unload incoming materials, verify quantities and part numbers, report shortages.
• Move materials between cells according to routing and orders.
• Fill orders from storage and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck and powered lift trucks to move materials and stack pallets.
• Conduct inventory transactions and cycle counts in the system.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow procedures.
