Job summary

Generac is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee end-to-end material flow from receiving to line-side presentation for production. The role focuses on improving delivery performance, cycle counts, and overall inventory accuracy, while ensuring timely material movement to production lines and efficient labor use.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least two years in materials leadership, and experience leading teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery in receiving material from other locations.
• Prepare parts for shipment to other facilities and production lines.
• Develop and implement standard processes and strategies to improve production efficiency.
• Lead and develop materials staff through education, training, coaching and certification.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage of materials.
• Oversee inventory management, accuracy, and established inventory guidelines.
