Generac Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Materials Supervisor to manage internal material flow from receiving to line-side presentation for production, including end-of-line packing and ship. The role drives improvements in inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and timely reporting.

The supervisor will lead a materials team, optimize warehousing operations, and collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to resolve issues and meet KPIs. Strong SAP skills and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsabilités

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery for shipment of parts to other facilities.
• Develop and implement standard processes to enable production efficiency improvements.
• Lead, supervise, and direct materials staff development through education, training, coaching, mentoring and certification.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage of materials.
• Oversee inventory management, accuracy, and established guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure efficient and accurate materials presentation to support production operations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to address quality and delivery issues and KPI achievement.
• Maintain high level of communication between planning, purchasing and production to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead and improve Material/Inventory Management best practices including Warehouse Management (Cycle Count, Transactions, Bar Coding, RFID) and Fill Rate.
• Maintain staffing levels for daily material management balancing workload.
• Act as SAP SuperUser within the functional area.
