Job summary

Generac is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure uninterrupted material availability for manufacturing operations. You will be the primary link between production, planning, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics to resolve shortages and drive improvements in material flow.

The role focuses on expediting critical shortages, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the implementation of lean practices to reduce disruptions and sustain on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in supply chain, operations, business, or related field.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred.
• 3 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or production planning preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Expedite material shortages that threaten production schedules.
• Communicate material constraints to planning, manufacturing, and purchasing teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and logistics to accelerate deliveries.
• Ensure materials are available for daily manufacturing requirements.
• Support inventory transactions and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Lead material risk reviews and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring shortages.
• Drive continuous improvement in inventory management and material flow.
• Collaborate across functions to improve forecasting and planning accuracy.
