Job summary

Generac is seeking a Materials Supervisor at our Jefferson, WI facility. You will oversee the full material flow from receiving to line-side presentation, drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and cycle counts, and lead the materials team to ensure on-time production support.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of materials leadership, with experience in SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership and team supervision.
• Experience with continuous improvement in material handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow from receiving to line-side presentation.
• Lead and develop materials staff through training and certification.
• Manage daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage.
• Oversee inventory control and accuracy per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to resolve issues.
• Act as SAP superuser within the materials function.
