Job summary

Generac is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee the internal material flow from receiving to line-side presentation for production, including end-of-line packing and shipping. The role drives continuous improvement in material handling, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy to meet delivery KPIs.

You will lead materials staff, implement standard processes, and partner with Quality, Purchasing, and Production to resolve issues impacting customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in materials leadership.
• Minimum 2 years leading teams or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely receiving/shipments.
• Develop and implement standard processes to improve production efficiency.
• Lead and develop materials staff through training and coaching.
• Manage daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle counts, and storage.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and established guidelines.
• Ensure material presentation supports production operations.
