Job summary

Voltava is hiring a Materials Coordinator to manage inventory and material flow across receiving and production. The role focuses on preventing shortages, expediting materials, and partnering with cross-functional teams to meet production and delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and customer-focused, with experience using ERP systems and strong Excel skills. No travel and a full-time, on-site position in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, analytical, and responsive with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to manage inventory and material flow across receiving and production.
• Experience using ERP systems to monitor inventory and material requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel for data tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels using ERP, 5 Alarm system, and Min/Max alerts.
• Coordinate and expedite material flow based on production needs.
• Review schedules to identify shortages, overdue materials, and disruptions.
• Partner with customers, receiving, production, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Investigate variances, perform cycle counts, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate Hot Shots and other expedited material requirements.
• Monitor and analyze OSR and address material concerns.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in material flow, layouts, and processes.
• Support plant safety policies and other duties as assigned.
