Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Houston to coordinate materials receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution for field construction activities. You will manage inbound/outbound flow, QA/QC, and real-time inventory data to support project delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of materials management experience in warehouses or lay-down yards (EPC projects a plus), and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience managing materials for a warehouse or lay-down yard; EPC projects in the electric power delivery sector.
• Understanding of receiving processes related to counts, inspections, inventory, storage, and issuance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certified Forklift Operator 8K–55K telescoping lifts and skid-steers or ability to obtain certification soon upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures inventory is handled and stored safely per requirements and specs.
• Receives, counts, and inspects materials; reconciles discrepancies (QA/QC, overage, shortage, damage).
• Directs placement and distribution of materials to trucks for safe transport to/from sites.
• Coordinates between project managers, engineering staff, suppliers, and teams on material questions.
• Maintains QA/QC receiving/issuing of materials for safe, timely operations.
• Plans phase bundling, structure staging, and kitting to streamline materials for construction.
• Performs on-site material audits and maintains lay-down yard inventory records.
• Manages data input for project materials in the inventory system for real-time reporting.
• Directs off-loading and storage of materials as received or issued.
