Quanta-Services seeks a Senior Materials Manager to oversee materials management for construction projects. You will source, procure, and logistically coordinate materials, collaborating with vendors and project teams to ensure on-time delivery.

This role emphasizes inventory accuracy, data entry in ClearSpider, and close liaison with project managers to resolve material issues and maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 10+ years of relevant experience is advantageous.
• Experience in construction/EPC projects in electric power delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages material management practices with client and vendors.
• Coordinate with local vendors to obtain materials quickly for expedited requests.
• Ensure materials adhere to construction and delivery schedules; communicate with project teams.
• Perform material take-offs and determine materials needed for project completion.
• Forecast lead times and reserve materials based on construction schedules.
• Oversee vendor shipments to ensure timely delivery to the project site.
• Conduct on-site material audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Input project materials data into ClearSpider for real-time reporting.
• Manage receiving, counting, and inspection of materials and resolve discrepancies.
