Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX seeks a Material Program Manager with a strong supply chain background to lead material strategies and supplier management across the product life cycle.

The role reports to the AFS Supply Chain Management Lead and collaborates with Engineering, Quality and Operations to ensure schedules, budgets and compliance. A university degree with 5–8+ years is expected, plus a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating to management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on material strategies, plans and supplier risk mitigation.
• Develop, coordinate and execute program material strategies and IPT activities.
• Support price-to-win targets and development of material plans (MPP).
• Establish material sales forecasts and manage risk/opportunity plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Operations to align schedules and budgets.
