Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and presenting to senior management.
• Experience in material forecasting and budget management.
• Experience with IPTs and supplier management.
• Active and transferable Secret clearance is required.
• Experience with government regulations (FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA).
• Experience with Design to Cost and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Experience with developing and analyzing performance metrics as well as addressing program and functional issues.
• Experience with Proposal and New Business Capture.
• Experience with program start up in a development environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise SCM Lead and PMO on material strategies and supplier risk mitigation activities.
• Develop, coordinate and execute program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives; involvement with early supplier participation focused on strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Support Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that support price to win (PTW) targets.
• Support the development and execution of material program plans (MPP) and establish Material Sales Forecasts for assigned programs.
• Support the development and execution of risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
• Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
• Functionally align with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on MRP; monitor performance metrics and address issues.
