Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Team. You will develop and execute material program plans and supplier strategies, interfacing with IRAD projects, capital programs, and universities.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Proficiency in SAP, MRP, and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Logistics, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control, Procurement or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
• Reviewing SSOWs and providing SCM inputs.
• Generating RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluating supplier proposals.
• Creating material requests and short text purchase requests (RFM/STPR).
• Driving Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order processes.
