Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Material Program Manager to lead material strategies across IRAD and capital projects. The role interfaces with TALs and PIs, managing procurements, deliveries, and flow between business units in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will develop and execute material program plans, work with suppliers, and ensure timely movement through contract closure. Onsite role with ~20% travel and active DoD clearance requirements.

Qualifications

Requires a university degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with Logistics, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control or Procurement.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
Assisting with the review and SCM inputs of SSOWs.
Generating RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
Creating requests for material and short text purchase requests (RFM/STPR).
Driving Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management.
Collaborating with production control, procurement and engineering teams on supply chain requests.
Facilitating creation or updates of PIA's and NDA's for new suppliers.
Travel up to ~20%.
