Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technologies, Airborne Spectrum Dominance Product Line Supply Chain team in McKinney, TX. You will develop and execute material strategies, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with program leadership to meet schedule and cost objectives.

This onsite role requires a US security clearance, a university degree (advanced degree preferred), and hands-on experience with procurement and Make/Buy decisions.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
  • Experience with supply chain, production control and/or procurement processes.
  • Experience with Office 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot Tables).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Planning and executing sourcing decisions and supporting Make/Buy/Where processes.
  • Identifying customer prime contract flow-downs and communicating terms/attachments.
  • Assisting with SSOW generation.
  • Generating RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluating supplier responses.
  • Processing supplier add/reactivation requests.
  • Driving purchase requisition and PO placement and MRP loads.
  • Participating in supplier engagements to ensure performance.
  • Travel approximately 5%.

Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technologies, Airborne Spectrum Dominance Product Line Supply Chain team supporting a portfolio of fast-paced development programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll create and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.

This position supports product development efforts and requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing fast paced environment where robust material strategy and agile execution are key factors to overall program success.

This position is a primarily onsite working location role. The position is located in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do:
  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
  • Planning and executing sourcing decisions and supporting the Make/Buy/Where process
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and communicating required Terms Attachments and/or Modifications
  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management including MRP system demand loads
  • Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
  • Ability to travel ~5%
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
  • Experience with Office 365 applications (including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel including Pivot Tables)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related
  • Knowledge about Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Experience supporting complex product development efforts
  • Experience presenting to executive leaders
  • Basic knowledge about Earned Value Management and EVM metrics, processes, and tools
  • Active/current and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
