Job summary

Raytheon, based in El Segundo, CA, seeks an experienced supply chain professional with DoD clearance to join onsite. You will manage supplier performance, coordinate with procurement, and drive program requirements through RFPs/RFQs while maintaining MRP integrity and schedule alignment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in supply chain or project management, 2+ years with suppliers, and US citizenship to access sensitive program information. This is an onsite role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience with 3–5+ years in a related role.
  • Minimum 5 years in supply chain or program/project management.
  • Minimum 2 years working with suppliers.
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with program and partnering functions to ensure supplier management and execution.
  • Partner with procurement to ensure suppliers meet program requirements and data packages.
  • Assist procurement with RFPs/RFQs.
  • Provide status updates in team meetings and reviews.
  • Engage weekly with suppliers to meet performance targets.
  • Maintain MRP environment and program schedules for executable plans.
  • Own supplier and finance management processes including risk, metrics, and forecasts.
  • Address urgent supply chain tasks and SSOWs; expedite orders as needed.
  • Communicate program status and resolutions to stakeholders, including Raytheon leadership.

What You Will Do
  • Work closely with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements
  • Partner with procurement to ensure suppliers are meeting program requirements (contractual requirements, drawing and technical data packages, and schedule requirements).
  • Assist procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s)
  • Provide status by preparing and presenting slides and files during team tag-ups, daily/weekly program meetings, and monthly program & customer reviews
  • Participate in weekly supplier engagements to ensure required performance is met
  • Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and the programs’ schedule within that environment while balancing supply and demand to allow for an executable schedule
  • Overall ownership of the supplier and finance management process (i.e., Risk/Opportunity, Line of Balance, Metrics, Material sales forecasts)
  • Proactively address and complete urgent supply chain tasking (Purchase Requisitions integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), Purchase Order follow up
  • Provide pertinent information to procurement in order to expedite ordering and receipt of parts to ensure continuous production
  • Communicate program status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders, including Raytheon senior management, customers, and suppliers
  • Travel domestically to suppliers as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a supply chain role and/or program/project management
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with suppliers
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience in Subcontracts, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing
  • Supply chain experience in the defense industry
  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. SAP, Power Bi, Kinaxis RapidResponse)

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
