Job summary

The role requires forklift operation certification, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to read work orders and label items correctly. You will handle weights up to 80 pounds and operate in a yard environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required by the employer.
• Ability to read work orders and label items accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles.
• Build loads and ensure balance and safety for hauling.
• Read work orders and follow instructions to move materials.
• Transport materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices.
• Open containers and prepare items for movement using basic hand tools.
• Attach tags/labels for correct item identification.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
