Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and installs strapping or padding.
• Performs load-building and determines weight and placement for safe hauling.
• Reads work orders or follows instructions to move materials.
• Conveys materials to designated areas using carts, forklifts or other devices.
• Opens containers and labels items for correct identification.
• Follows safety procedures and attends safety meetings; may suggest safety improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
