Job summary

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and labeling instructions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and proper handling of loads.
• Basic math and measurement skills for load balancing.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles.
• Assemble load packages and secure with straps or padding.
• Read work orders to determine materials to move.
• Transport materials using hand truck, electric dolly, forklift or similar device.
• Ensure loads are balanced and safely loaded for delivery.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
