Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Material Handler II for the 6:00pm–6:00am C shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will move materials between cells and the central warehouse, inspect parts, and perform inventory in the business system.

You should have forklift certification, read Bills of Materials, and possess 1–3 years of manufacturing experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to operate PIT equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Must provide forklift certification and demonstrate PIT operation knowledge.
• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read Bills of Materials and use basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials and perform bin maintenance.
• Check identifications, quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damage.
• Move materials between cells; fill orders and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand trucks and powered lift trucks; load outgoing trucks.
• Accurately perform inventory transactions and conduct cycle counts.
