G&W Electric Co in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks a Material Handler II for a 6:00am to 2:30pm shift at the Central Warehouse. You will unload, move and store materials, verify quantities and part numbers, and perform inventory transactions using the company system.

The role requires forklift certification, operation of pallet jacks, forklifts and stackers, and a valid driver’s license. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing or warehouse settings and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification and ability to operate PIT equipment.
• Experience reading Bills of Materials is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer for inventory transactions.
• Candidates should have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials; perform bin maintenance as needed.
• Verify quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damage.
• Move materials between cells following routing and orders.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells; operate pallet jack and lift trucks.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and participate in training others as needed.
