Job summary

The Hillman Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and finished products using powered industrial equipment. You will load and unload trucks, scan items with a hand-held RF scanner, and transfer goods to designated areas in the facility.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to work from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with potential overtime; candidates should be able to read verbal and written instructions and maintain

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger
• Duties may change or new ones assigned at any time with or without notice.
