Job summary

The Hillman Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

This role requires standing on concrete, lifting up to 70 lbs, using a hand scanner, and operating a pallet jack to ensure timely replenishment and accurate inventory. Overtime opportunities exist as schedules include early hours and extra shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with RF scanners or handheld scanning devices is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock materials to designated areas in the facility.
• Picks up incoming materials from the Receiving dock and unloads stock in Bulk storage.
• Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
• Operate pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
• Transfer finished products to designated areas and maintain inventory accuracy.

Schedule Monday through Friday - 530 AM to 200 PM

Overtime Schedule Monday through Saturday - 430 AM to 200 PM

Job Summary

Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Essential Job Functions *

• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment

Material Handler Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Material Handler Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
