Job summary

The Hillman Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving and stocking materials and finished goods to designated areas within the facility. You will operate a handheld RF scanner, use pallet jacks, and assist with stock replenishment and transfers.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, and the stamina to stand up to 8 hours with lifts up to 70 lbs.

Pay: $16.25/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Overtime Schedule: Monday through Saturday - 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Job Summary

Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Essential Job Functions *

• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
