Job summary

The Hillman Group is hiring a Material Handler in Cincinnati, OH. This role supports Operations by moving materials and finished products using powered industrial equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, and by scanning items for inventory and fulfillment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, stocking storage areas, and ensuring timely replenishment to workstations. Overtime on evenings and weekends may apply per operation needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required.
• Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Able to operate pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

Pay $18.50/hour (plus an additional $1.50 shift differential)

Schedule Monday through Friday - 200 PM to 1000 PM

Overtime Schedule Monday through Saturday - 200 PM to 1000 PM

Job Summary

Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.

Essential Job Functions *

• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Material Handler Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Material Handler Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
