Job summary

Wabash, located in Cadiz, KY, is seeking a Material Handler to operate forklifts and support receiving, shipping, and production processes. You will work under training to handle PPE use, safety, and daily inventory tasks on the production floor.

The role includes environmental exposure to fumes and dust, high noise levels, and the need to stand and lift up to 50 pounds. Wabash provides training and a pathway for advancement while emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school degree or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading, writing, math, & verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Owning and helping improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Maintaining and reporting daily receiving and shipping activities.
• Reporting defects and needs for repairs.
• Keeping lines stocked with the proper materials.
• Performing additional work as assigned by the supervisor or coordinator.
