Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Material Handler to support production with a focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and related equipment, maintaining stock levels, and assisting in receiving and shipping activities on the production floor.

Training is provided for PIV and equipment operation; employees must pass pre-employment screening. The role supports multiple departments and emphasizes safe work practices in a loud, active manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and on‑time delivery performance.
• Maintain and report daily receiving and shipping activities.
• Report defects and needed repairs.
• Keep lines stocked with required materials.
• Assist in other departments as needed; perform duties safely with PPE.
