Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations, sort items, and move goods to production areas in a warehouse setting. The role involves outdoors/indoor work, lifting up to 30–40 pounds, and upholding safety standards.

The position is non-exempt, on-site in a production department, with opportunities for forklift operation if certified and a focus on dependable attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to lift 30–40 pounds and work outdoors/in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move items to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work area.
• Operate cardboard compactors and report hazards.
• Support safe work practices and assist with forklift operation when certified.
